Description

Wood Impregnation Paint (Bait), hybrid product for the decoration and protection of wooden surfaces. Water-based.

SurfaPaint™ Wood Stain is a high-quality, transparent or pigmented water-based impregnating varnish that protects interior and especially exterior wooden surfaces from weathering, water stains and oil.

The product is ideal when the decoration and preservation of the wood texture must be preserved and combined with simultaneous protection of the wood.

SurfaPaint™ Wood Stain does not contain biocides and wood preservatives.

Application Instructions

The surfaces must be clean, dry and rubbed with a suitable abrasive paper (in the case of unpainted surfaces
Use methylated spirits to remove excess oil, especially from tropical woods (e.g. teak)
SurfaPaint Wood Stain is ready to use without dilution
Avoid bubbles
Apply 2 coats for good protection and 3 coats for excellent protection. Applying 3 coats can increase the depth of color
Additional coats can be applied 3-4 hours after the previous application; Sand lightly between coats, if necessary, with fine sandpaper.

Note this:

Does not apply to damp, frozen or structurally unchanged wood (cracked, rotten).
Not recommended for surfaces previously coated with varnishes, paints or oils – these must be completely removed.
Does not provide sufficient protection against extreme weather conditions if used as a single layer outdoors (application of a protective varnish is recommended).
Does not apply to temperatures below +10°C or in conditions of high humidity of the air or wood (>18%).
Not intended floors or surfaces subject to intense mechanical traffic without additional protection.

HOW TO USE

CLEAN AND DRY THE SURFACE WELL

For this step, you can use a detergent from the Nanomax range. Clean the surface thoroughly with detergent and let it dry thoroughly. Use protective gloves.

MIX THE VARNISH WELL, APPLY WITH A BRUSH, IN A FINE LAYER,NOTIRON AND DO NOT LET THE SURFACE COME INTO CONTACT WITH WATER FOR AT LEAST 5 HOURS.

SHAKE THE BOTTLE WELL

If necessary, you can apply a second layer.

For this step, use a roller, a squeegee or a sprayer. After 5 hours, apply a 2nd very thin layer to reinforce the protection.Use protective gloves.
