Description

Epoxy floor paint, SurfaPaint Floor Epoxy Enamel for two-component solvent-based floors.

SurfaPaint™ Floor Epoxy Enamel is a high-performance, two-component epoxy amine (hardener) product designed to resist aggressive chemicals, water, mineral oils, most dilute acids and alkalis, while being ideal for surfaces exposed to heavy traffic.

SurfaPaint™ Floor Epoxy Enamel is an epoxy polyamine for use on heavily trafficked substrates. It provides premium adhesion, penetration, hardness, and resistance to abrasion and scratches.

Highly recommended for interior concrete floors such as workshops, warehouses and industrial floors, swimming pools, tanks, fountains, boats, metal structures.

It offers excellent protection for floors exposed to different temperatures with a maximum of 60° C and a minimum of 25° C.

It can be applied directly in two layers depending on the surface.

Application Instructions

Compatible surfaces: interior industrial floors, garages, workshops, warehouses, department stores, etc.
Before applying the product, make sure the surface is clean and dry. Application is done using a stiff nylon brush or roller. To avoid air bubbles, it is very important to use a spiked roller (screed roller).
MIXING: Pour component B into component A and mix very well for 3 minutes with a drill at low speed. Mixing should be carried out both on the walls and the bottom of the container for proper homogenization.
Then, if necessary, dilute with NanoPhos Thinner A (5-10% v/v) depending on the application, desired workability and substrate absorption.
APPLICATION: Apply by roller, brush or airless spray. SurfaPaint™ Floor Epoxy Enamel dries superficially in 2-3 hours and can be repainted after 12 hours.
The repainting time should not exceed 2 days. These times vary depending on the relative humidity and ambient temperature. All tools and equipment should be cleaned immediately after use with NanoPhos Thinner A. . For increased slip resistance, NanoPhos quartz sand can be added to the painting system or Nanomax Two-Component Anti-Slip Polyurethane Lacquer.

Note this:

Observe the mixing proportions between components A and B according to the manufacturer’s instructions –incorrect mixing compromises paint hardening.
After mixing, the product has a limited pot life (pot life of 30–40 minutes) –don't prepare more than you can immediately apply.
Do not apply to wet or drying concrete –excessive humidity can cause peeling or fizzing.
Ensure adequate ventilation of the space during application and drying.
Wear protective equipment:gloves, mask and glasses, to avoid skin contact and inhalation of vapors.
Do not apply at temperatures below+10°Cor over+30°C– the chemical reaction becomes unstable outside this range.

HOW TO USE

CLEAN AND DRY THE SURFACE WELL

For this step, you can use a detergent from the Nanomax range, Cleaner Pro for cleaning pavement/concrete. Clean the surface thoroughly with detergent and let it dry thoroughly. Use protective gloves.

What type of surfaces can NanoMax epoxy paint be applied to?

It is intendedwell-dried and seasoned concrete floors(minimum 28 days), properly cleaned and sanded. Do not apply to surfaces previously coated with oil-based paints, glossy ceramics or unstable supports.

Does it withstand car or industrial traffic?

Yes. NanoMax epoxy paint is formulated forhigh mechanical and chemical resistance, being suitable forcar traffic, forklifts, industrial spaces or parking lots.

Is it non-slip?

In its standard form, it is not anti-slip. However, it can be transformed into an anti-slip system bysprinkling of quartz sandbetween layers, followed by a final sealing layer.

How long do I have to wait before I can use the floor?

Light pedestrian traffic:after approximately24 hours
Car traffic or heavy demand:after5–7 days
It is essential to adhere to these intervals for complete curing and optimal performance.
