  • Clean and remove impurities.

  • On very fragile surfaces, use a fixing adhesive before application.
  • Use clean, rust-free tools.
  • Apply a thin first coat.
  • If necessary, add up to 3 or more layers for a thicker layer (max. 15 mm).
  • Wait for each layer to dry before reapplying.
  • Lightly sand the surface with sandpaper:
  • If a fine powder is obtained, the layer is dry and ready for the next layer.

Cement-based mortar/plaster:
Check the compatibility of the putty with the base surface. Wait until fully cured (at least 30 days). Remove any efflorescence from the surface and neutralize alkaline surfaces. On extremely smooth surfaces, lightly sand to create adhesion. Clean the surface of foreign products and/or residues. Open any cracks or fissures to a solid layer, remove dust with a brush and apply putty or plaster according to the sections “Application systems” and “Application”.
Do not apply layers thicker than the maximum recommended thickness.

On extremely friable surfaces, before applying the putty, fix the surface with a suitable fixative.
Restoration and maintenance
Remove products from the surface that are flaking or in a damaged condition and create adhesion on smooth surfaces by sanding or other mechanical means.
Check adhesion and treat the surface as new.
