Description

Rust neutralizer, which through a chemical reaction transforms rust into a well-fixed and perfectly adherent protective layer. The product replaces mechanical friction, before applying the antioxidant primer.

Ideal for exterior/interior use on oxidized iron or steel surfaces.

Application Instructions

  • Clean the surface of dirt and remove all residues.
  • Mix the product until it becomes perfectly homogeneous.
  • Apply to clean and dry substrates.
  • Do not apply the product at high temperatures.
  • Indoors, make sure the area is well ventilated while the product is drying.
  • Do not apply with humidity higher than 80% for: painted iron and other painted surfaces we recommend removing traces of old paint.

Mix the product until it becomes perfectly homogeneous.
Apply to clean and dry substrates, removing dirt with degreasing agents or detergents and clean water. Apply according to the instructions in the attached application table.
Do not apply the product at high temperatures or on surfaces exposed to strong sunlight.
Ensure the area is well ventilated while the product dries. Do not apply with relative humidity greater than 80%.

Do I need to clean the rust before applying the treatment?

Yes. It is recommended to remove flaking or thick rust with a wire brush or sandpaper. The product is only effective on stubborn, stable rust.

Can I paint directly over a surface treated with Monto?


Yes, but you must wait at least 6 hours after application for the product to fully react. After complete drying, you can apply primer and then anti-corrosion paint.

Is it also suitable for outdoor use?

Yes, the treatment is also effective for metal surfaces exposed to the weather (gates, fences, machinery), provided that it is subsequently covered with a protective system (primer + paint).

How much surface area can I treat with a 125 ml bottle?

On average, one bottle covers approximately1.5–2 m², depending on the degree of corrosion and surface absorbency. It is ideal for spot repairs or small objects.
