FAQ

On what types of surfaces can Surfasil NanoPhos be applied?

It is intended for application on porous mineral substrates such as: concrete, cement, plaster, masonry, natural stone or BCA. Not recommended for painted, ceramic, plastic or metal surfaces.

What is the role of this primer in the protection system?

Surfasil acts as penetrating and consolidating primer, reducing excessive substrate absorption and improving adhesion and efficiency of final layers, such as water repellents, paints or varnishes.

Can it be used outdoors?

Yes, it is suitable for exterior and interior applications, as long as it is applied to dry surfaces and protected from rain immediately after application. It provides moisture resistance and improves the durability of subsequently applied systems.

How long do I have to wait after application before applying the final coat?

Depending on temperature and humidity, a drying time of 4–6 hours before applying the next coat. Make sure the primer is completely dry to the touch before continuing.
