Practical Advice

Use neodymium type magnets or strong magnets – the paint creates a surface with metal particles, not an actual magnet. Weak decorative magnets (fridge type) may have poor grip.

Description

Acrylic water-based paint, with a slightly grainy texture that allows magnets to attach to walls, furniture and non-ferrous metals, offering the ability to apply finishes in any color with water-based paints. Allows the use of ordinary walls to attach notes, announcements, lists or decorative magnets without the need for holes or pegs.

Ideal for interior surfaces, amortars based oncement,concrete,plaster,wood after priming.

Application Instructions

  • Apply to surfaces that are clean, dry and in good condition. The product is ready to use, but can be diluted with up to 10% water.
  • Apply a minimum of 2 coats and a maximum of 5 coats (the higher the number of coats, the stronger the magnetic effect).
  • Finish with one or more coats of MONTO plastic paint or synthetic enamel such as Montosintetic or Luxatin. If a smooth surface is required, sand first of the finish with No. 320 sandpaper. It is recommended to use an anti-drip stencil before applying the final coat on already painted surfaces, check the solidity and adhesion of the existing paint layer, as well as its compatibility to avoid possible incompatibilities. Remove dust and dirt before repainting.

Do not apply toglossy, wet or unstable surfaceswithout proper primer and preparation.
Does not provide adhesion toweak decorative magnets(eg: fridge magnets) – are requiredstrong magnets (neodymium).
It is not intended for external surfaces or exposed to high humidity (eg: bathrooms, facades).
Not to be applied onfriable plasters, oil-based paints or washable paints degraded, without prior cleaning.
The magnetic effect isdependent on the number of layers– below 3 layers may be ineffective.
