Description

Acrylic Concrete Paint, SurfaPaint ™ Acrylic Hard Floor is an excellent quality water-based acrylic paint ideal for interior and exterior cement floor surfaces as it exhibits excellent abrasion resistance on foot traffic and light vehicle surfaces.

SurfaPaint ™ Acrylic Hard Floor stands out for its easy application, stain resistance and durability thanks to the high quality acrylic resin it contains.

The topcoat protects against water absorption or oil stains (liquid fuel, grease, engine oil, tire marks).

It is also resistant to chemicals, ultraviolet radiation and extreme weather conditions. This durability makes it suitable for application on pedestrian and light vehicle floors. The end result has a satin finish and is available in white and grey.

Application Instructions

  • Before applying SurfaPaint™ Acrylic Hard Floor, the surface is primed using the same product, diluted up to 20% by volume with water, or with a water-based primer such as SurfaMix™ P (for porous surfaces) and SurfaMix™ Epoxy Primer WB (for non-porous surfaces, for example, metal surfaces, ceramic tiles, cement surfaces or old polyurethane coatings.
  • All surfaces must be clean, dry and free of loose dust, oils, grease and residue. New cementitious substrates must be cured for at least 3-4 weeks prior to primer application.
  • Mix well before use.
  • Apply 2 coats crosswise using a quality brush, stencil or airless sprayer, allowing an interval of 24 hours between coats.
  • Ensure that the corners and edges are properly covered.
  • Reapplication time should be 24 hours, with cross application. Maximum protection is obtained 7 days after application. Good ventilation is required to ensure proper drying.
Note

Note this:

Do not apply on wet surfaces or fresh concrete (under 28 days).

Avoid application below +10°C or above +30°C.
Not recommended for intense heavy traffic without additional protection.
Do not use in permanently wet spaces (ex: bathrooms, swimming pools).
Surfaces soiled by oil, grease or salts must be cleaned beforehand.
