Description

KIT FOR GARAGE, PRIMER+EPOXID PAINT

SurfaPaint ™ Floor Epoxy Enamel is a two-component product, ideal for HOME USE specialized for GARAGE but also warehouses, workshops, department stores, water tanks or even industrial floors.

Primer is ideal for GARAGES, HIGH TRAFFIC AREAS, FLOORS exposed to large temperature variations, having high mechanical strength and improved slip resistance properties.

PRIMER AND PAINT are easy to apply, leaving a semi-gloss finish, resistant to abrasion and impact, without visible welds, suitable for CONCRETE, STEEL, NON-FERROUS METALS.

Application Instructions

SURFACE PREPARATION:
Ensure surface must be clean, free of dust, oils, grease or loose debris. New cement or masonry substrates must be cured for at least 4 weeks prior to application.
Repair damaged areas, cracks or holes with CRACK REPAIR KIT, MONTO.
PRIMER APPLICATION:
Always pour the full amount of Hardener B in Base A and mix well for 3 minutes using a mixer or drill at low speed. Mixing should be done on both the walls and the bottom of the container for proper homogenization.
Apply the primer to the surface and allow to dry for 8 hours.
Optionally, the primer can be thinned with NanoPhos Thinner A (5-25% v/v), depending on the application, desired workability and absorption of the substrate.
PAINT APPLICATION:
Pour component B into component A and mix very well for 3 minutes using a low-speed drill. Mixing should be done on both the walls and the bottom of the container for proper homogenization.
Then, if necessary, thin with NanoPhos Thinner A (5-10%v/v) depending on the application, the desired workability and the absorbency of the substrate.
Apply with a stencil, brush or airless spray.
After applying the PRIMER and waiting for it to dry for 8 hours, apply the two coats of PAINT, both 8 hours apart.
The reapplication time should not exceed 2 days. These intervals may vary depending on the relative humidity and the ambient temperature. All tools and equipment should be cleaned immediately after use with NanoPhos Thinner A.

Note this:

Not recommended for wet surfaces or with active capillary moisture
Not suitable for direct application on floors not previously treated with primer
Do not apply at temperatures below +10°C or above +30°C
Working time is limited after mixing the components
Not intended for heavy industrial traffic without additional protection
Requires protective equipment and application in ventilated space
Cannot be applied to previously painted surfaces without sanding and compatibility test
