Practical Advice

Mix the product well before use. Apply 2-3 thin coats with a brush, sponge or gun, in the direction of the wood grain.
Waiting time between coats: 6-12 hours, depending on temperature and humidity.
Do not dilute the product - it is ready to use.

Description

Wood impregnation paint (Bait), hybrid product for decorating and protecting wooden surfaces. Based on water.

SurfaPaint ™ Wood Stain is a high-quality transparent or pigmented water-based impregnation varnish that protects interior and especially exterior wood surfaces from weathering, water and oil stains.

The product is Ideal when the decoration and preservation of the wood texture must be preserved and combined with the simultaneous protection of the wood.

SurfaPaint ™ Wood Stain does not contain biocides and wood preservatives.

Application Instructions

Surfaces should be clean, dry and rubbed with suitable sandpaper (for unpainted surface
Use methyl alcohol to remove excess oil, especially from tropical wood (e.g. teak)
SurfaPaint Wood Stain is ready to use undiluted
Avoid bubbles
Apply 2 coats for good protection and 3 coats for excellent protection. 3 coats may increase depth color
Additional coats can be applied 3-4 hours after previous application; Sand lightly between coats if necessary with fine sandpaper.

Note this:

Do not apply towet, frozen or structurally unchanged wood(cracked, rotten).
Not recommended forsurfaces previously coated with varnishes, paints or oils– these must be completely removed.
Does not provide sufficient protectionagainst extreme weatherif used as a single layer on the outside (protective varnish is recommended).
Do not apply attemperatures below +10°Cor under conditions ofhigh air or wood humidity(>18%).
Not intended forfloors or surfaces subject to intense mechanical trafficwithout protection additional.
